The apparatus comprises three support columns (A, B, C) connected by sliding guides (34) for two arms (25) provided with a support (24) which retain a mould (6) in cantilever fashion. These supports (24) are detachably connected to one another and together to respective half-moulds (18, 18') for the product and are rotatable with respect to the said arms (25). The first support column (A) comprises elements (9, 10, 11) for guiding and raising (2, 7) the internal mould (4), and the second support column (C) holds two half-moulds (38, 38') for the manufacture of the flange (37). The frame (41, 44') which holds the half-mould of the flange (38) allows the finished collar to be rotated and applied to the underlying product. The third support column (B) is arranged between the abovementioned two columns (A, C) and comprises means (2, 7) for raising the internal mould (4) and for extracting the finished product. With the apparatus it is possible to manufacture and combine in a sequence of uninterrupted operations both the bottom part and the respective flange, which together form the product. <IMAGE>
