PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ticket issuing method preventing double sales and enhancing services to users. SOLUTION: A terminal 3 accepts the input of reservation sales data for issuing commuter passes, and a host computer 2 stores the reservation sales data accepted from the terminal 2 and imparts to the reservation sales data a first status which corresponds to tickets not yet sold. Then reservation identification information is transmitted to the terminal 2 and a commuter pass issuing machine 9 for issuing commuter passes requests the host computer 2 to check the reservation sales data according to the input reservation identification information. At the time when this request for checking is accepted from the commuter pass issuing machine 9, the host computer 2 imparts to the reservation sales data a second status which corresponds to the commuter passes being sold, and this status is locked until selling of the commuter passes is complete. |
