PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a charging rest capable of holding a portable communication terminal in a longitudinally installed state, where the display panel displays a longitudinal screen, and in a state of being installed in laterally slantingly, where the display panel has an elevation angle for displaying a lateral screen. SOLUTION: The charging rest comprises a body section for attaching portable communication terminal equipment, and a stand. The stand comprises an arm section pivoted onto the back of the body section, and a nearly triangular ground base section connected to the tip of the arm section nearly in an L or T shape at side view. The rotary shaft of the arm section has a prescribed deflection angle with respect to a horizontal direction on the back of the body section, and a holding section that is the ground base section and projects toward the side of the portable communication terminal equipment, by the twisting rotation of the arm section.
