PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to easily read a bar code, etc., without influence by the attached position of an object to be read by emitting scanning beams to the object to be read from plural directions through a 1st and a 2nd windows arranged perpendicular to each other, concerning an optical scanner emitting scanning beams from multiple directions for reading the object to be read. SOLUTION: This optical scanner is provided with a 1st window A, a 2nd window B arranged perpendicular to the 1st window, a single scanning means 1 for reflecting/scanning an incident beam of light, and a 1st pattern mirror and a 2nd pattern mirror 2 which are each constituted of plural mirrors and on which the scanning beam of light formed by the single scanning means is made incident, and the optical scanner is constituted so that the scanning beam of light reflected by the 1st pattern mirror is emitted through the 1st window A, and the scanning beam of light reflected by the 2nd pattern mirror is emitted through the 2nd window B. |
