BUS APPROACH INFORMATION NOTIFICATION SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bus approach information notification system that enables user to acquire at desired timing information on a bus vehicle approaching a boarding bus stop, without using map information such as a bus route map.

SOLUTION: For example, a boarding bus stop and alighting bus stop are designated beforehand by a route specifying means. When a route detecting means detect routes, including the specified boarding bus stop and alighting bus stop from a route storing means; a target bus detecting means detect a bus vehicle running on the route and before arriving to the boarding bus stop from a bus position storing means. When two or more bus vehicles are detected by those detections, time required for arriving at the boarding bus stop from present position of each bus vehicles are predicted respectively by arrival time prediction means; and sending means send a message with the predicted required time recorded in ascending order to a portable terminal of a user via a communication network.
