PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hand guide roller such that positions of a steering grip and a forward/backward movement lever can be intuitively grasped and an operation can be performed always with the same operation feeling at any standing position of an operator to an operation box during compaction work, and an operation delay and a wrong operation can therefore be prevented in operating the steering grip and the forward/backward movement lever.SOLUTION: A base end of a steering rod 21 is fitted to a rear part of a travel machine body 2 mounted with an engine 5 as a power source, and extended backward, and an operation box 24 is fitted atop of the operation rod 21. A steering grip 50 is arranged at a right/left-directional center position on the operation box 24 to extend in a front-rear direction, and a forward/backward movement lever 26 for changing forward/backward movements of a vehicle 1 is stood at a right-side position of the steering grip 50 on the operation box 24. The forward/backward movement lever 26 is bent in a crank shape to the left to locate a lever grip 26a provided at an upper end right above the steering grip 50.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5 |
