摘要 PURPOSE:To obtain the title ceramic capacitor, having an excellent noise-absorbing property, which is suitable for use on a switching power source by a method wherein the dielectric loss at the normal temperature is set at a particularly large value. CONSTITUTION:As the value of dielectric loss of a ceramic dielectric at normal temperature is as large as 3% or less, the concentration of noise generating directly after operation of a switching power source is excellently absorbed when the ceramic dielectric is used as the smoothing capacitor of the switching power source. Besides, if the value of the dielectric loss is less than 3%, the absorbency of noise decreases, and if the dielectric loss exceeds 3%, insulating resistance is liable to be lowered. Also, as the value of dielectric loss is as small as 1% or less at 70 deg.C which is the substantial working temperature of the ceramic capacitor, the drop of output voltage causes no trouble substantially. Besides, if the value of dielectric loss at 70 deg.C exceeds 1%, the drop of output voltage becomes the cause of trouble. Moreover, by bringing this capacitance value of the ceramic dielectric to the maximum at 40 to 100 deg.C, a large capacitance can be obtained at the substantial working temperature of the ceramic capacitor when the ceramic dielectric is used as the smoothing capacitor of the switching power source.
