PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a thin membrane for assaying a protease sterilized so as to be suitable for assaying the protease activity in a medical site. SOLUTION: This thin membrane is formed on a support and is a crosslinked and/or a substantially water-insoluble thin membrane for assaying the protease comprising at least one kind of protease substrate and sterilized by irradiation ofγ-rays.
