<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a walking training device capable of controlling turn of a rotary shaft by a simple configuration to improve inconvenience of a conventional walking training device and enabling a trainee to provide sufficient force for pressing by his/her arm and shoulder while supporting his/her weight. <P>SOLUTION: A horizontal arm is provided on the rotary shaft suspended on a floor surface, and a torque keeper capable of adjusting torque steplessly is provided on the rotary shaft so that the walking trainee can apply his/her body to a pair of side support members provided on the horizontal arm and push and turn them to perform walking training. A pair of side support members are supported by a guide bar and a screw bar constituting the horizontal arm, and either of the side support members can slide freely due to the turn of the screw bar and can be fixed to an arbitrary position. A grip member allowing the trainee to apply his/her hand to a side of the side support member and grip it is provided, and the walking trainee pushes and turns the horizontal arm while pushing the grip member with his/her hand. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
