<p>PURPOSE:To enhance buckling strength, impact strength and bending strength by forming more than a required number of ribs along an axial line, on the inner surface of an end part area on the smaller dia. side of a tube which is equivalent to the length amounting to a specified percentage or less of an entire tube length. CONSTITUTION:This fiber-reinforced synthetic resin tube is one which has a reduced diameter in one direction of an axial line (using an epoxy resin or a phenol resin as a synthetic resin and carbon fiber or glass fiber as a reinforcing fiber). Further, more than 10 pieces of rib are formed along the axial line, on the inner surface of an area A on an end part 1a of a smaller tube diameter side which is equivalent to 10 to 15% of an entire tube length. The degree of a diametral shrinkage of the outer diameter in one direction of the axial line should preferably be 6/1000 to 7/1000. In addition, more than 10 pieces of the rib are formed along the axial line, on the inner surface of an area B on the end part 1b side of a larger tube diameter side of the tube which is equivalent to 3 to 35% of the entire tube length. The number of the ribs should preferably be 10 to 16. Further, the thickness of the rib should preferably be 0.5 to 1.0mm and the height of the rib be 0.7 to 2.0mm.</p> |
