PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a producing apparatus for resistivity controlled water having stable desired resistivity, in which the availability of deionizing means such as an ion exchange resin is high, the device can be downsized and the space for installation can be reduced, and to provide an apparatus for producing water for inspection of cans by using the producing apparatus for resistivity controlled water. SOLUTION: After the raw water is pretreated in a pretreatment process II, the water is partly deionized in a deionizing process III. The rest is not deionized but mixed with the deionized water. The amount of the water not deionized but to be mixed with the deionized water is controlled based on the measured value of the resistivity of the mixed water so as to obtain resistivity controlled water having specified resistivity. Part of the obtained water is further made to dissolve carbonic acid gas in a carbonic acid gas dissolution tank 4 to stabilize the resistivity, then partly sterilized and then mixed with the main flow. The water is then sent to a control tank 3, pressure control tank 8 and can inspection machine 10. The used water is collected in a reception tank 2 and used as the raw water.
