PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cooling fan device capable of suitably preventing supercooling of an internal combustion engine.SOLUTION: A cooling fan device 1A includes a cooling fan 10A provided on a vehicle body front part 2, and adapted to be rotated around a first axis 12b extending in a vehicle longitudinal direction for guiding air into an engine room 3, and a control part for controlling the cooling fan 10A, the cooling fan 10A including a plurality of fan blades 14 arranged around the first axis 12b, and a rotation prohibiting part capable of prohibiting the rotation of the cooling fan 10A around the first axis 12b. Each of the plurality of fan blades 14 can be turned around a corresponding second axis 15a intersecting the first axis 12b. The control part turns the plurality of fan blades 14 around the second axes 15a to make a projection area of the plurality of fan blades 14 in a front view in the state of prohibiting the rotation of the cooling fan 10A, larger than a projection area of the plurality of fan blades 14 in a front view in the state of rotating the cooling fan 10A.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
