The device is made of a material with an absorptive inner surface and a watertight outer layer. The contours are cut out of the material and the device formed into a pointed bag by folding the fabric along the predetermined lines and joining the two longitudinal edges provided with an adhesive layer. The cover can be simply pulled over the penis with the inserted catheter without any fixing arrangements required.
