<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hot water storage type hot-water supply device of series multi-tank system capable of additionally firing a bath with a high energy efficiency. <P>SOLUTION: This hot water storage type hot-water supply device 1 comprises hot water storage tanks 9a and 9b connected in series to each other, a water supply tube 16 for supplying water to the bottom part of the hot water storage tank 9a, a heat supply device 2 heating the water at the bottom part of the hot water storage tank 9b to return the flow of the water to the upper part of the hot water storage tank 9b, a hot water take-out tube 17 for taking out hot water from the upper part of the hot water storage tank 9b, and a connection tube 15 connecting the upper part of the hot water storage tank 9a to the bottom part of the hot water storage tank 9b. The device also comprises an additional firing tube 19 continuously connected between the upper part of the hot water storage tank 9b and the intermediate part of the hot water storage tank 9a, a circulation pump 11 feeding the water in the additional firing tube 19 from the hot water storage tank 9b to the hot water storage tank 9a, and a heat exchanger 13 for additional firing performing heat exchange between the hot water in the additional firing tube 19 and a bathtub water supplied to a bathtub.
