An apparatus and a method of manufacturing a strip for an oil level gauge are provided to manufacture a strip with higher straightness by correcting camber and curling of the strip generated due to the deformation of the cold-rolled coil itself in a process of manufacturing a strip for an oil level gauge using a cold-rolled coil. An apparatus of manufacturing a strip for an oil level gauge comprises: an uncoiler part(100) for rotatably supporting a cold-rolled coil(13) formed by coiling in a coil shape a stainless steel strip(14) that has been cut to a predetermined width; a camber correcting part(200) formed on a body(15), the camber correcting part including a plurality of correcting rollers(502) symmetrically installed in upper and lower parts of a stainless steel strip drawn out from the cold-rolled coil, operated by an operating frame(501), disposed in a zigzag shape, and slantly installed such that one ends of the correcting rollers are in proximity to one another, and the other ends of the correcting rollers are spaced apart from one another to correct a camber of the stainless steel strip by pressurizing one side of the stainless steel strip; a curling correcting part(300) installed on the body, the curling correcting part including a plurality of correcting rollers(502) installed in the upper and lower parts of the stainless steel strip, and disposed such that the correcting rollers are initially in proximity to one another to induce bending of the stainless steel strip and gradually spaced apart from one another to increase straightness of the stainless steel strip; and a rewinder part(400) for storing the coil-shaped strip by winding the stainless steel strip in a coil shape after curling of the stainless steel strip has been corrected by the curling correcting part.
