Hydrofoil boat with fin propulsion system

The underwater part of the boat has a torpedo shape for reduced wave resistance and contains a number of automatically adjustable ballast tanks. The outer tank wall is a mesh screen to allow water to enter and leave the tank, which contains an inflatable elastic material (e.g. rubber) lung, automatically adjustable using a compressed air system to alter the depth of the boat in the water. The compressed air system comprises a compressor, compressed air vessel, compressed air distribution and control valves, compressed air lines and the lungs in the tanks. The part (5) of the boat above water is linked to the underwater part by two support columns housing components used to link the tanks to the compressed air system, and also housing components linked to the fin propulsion system.
