PURPOSE:To obtain the subject compound useful as a synthetic intermediate for amines and hydroxylamines by reacting a double bond-containing compound with a specific silane and a specific ester of nitrous acid in the presence of a metal complex catalyst. CONSTITUTION:A compound of formula I (R<1> to R<4> are H, alkyl or form ring, etc.) is reacted with an ester of nitrous acid and a silane compound in an inert gas atmosphere in a solvent (e.g. t-butanol) at 0-150 deg.C by using at least one complex compound selected from a metal compound of formula II (R<7> is H, lower alkyl, etc.; R<8> is H, halogen, etc.; R<9> is lower alkyl, aryl, etc.; M is Mn or Fe; m is 2 or 3), an iron compound of formula III (X is halogen, etc.), an iron compound of formula IV (R<16> to R<19> are lower alkyl, aryl, etc.; n, is 2 or 3; Y is halogen OH, etc.) and a cobalt compound of formula V (R<20> to R<23> are lower alkyl, aryl, etc.) as a catalyst at 0-150 deg.C to give the subject compound. |
