PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a camera capable of preventing range-finding performance from being deteriorated without restricting miniaturization and the degree of freedom in design. SOLUTION: This camera is provided with a camera main body 1, a pop-up unit 8 which pops up from the main body 1 when a power switch is turned on and is housed in the main body 1 when the power switch is turned off, a stroboscope 5 disposed in the unit 8, a passive type or active type range- finding unit 4 disposed in the unit 8, and a detection switch for detecting the position of the unit 8. Then, the camera is provided with an LED for warning which calls photographer's attention when the detection switch detects that the unit 8 does not exist at a specified position. |
