<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To further facilitate setting related to copy printing, regardless of the type of document. <P>SOLUTION: When a copy size indicative of the size at the time of printing a document is selected, an option for document using a scale factor is set in case of a text-based document type (S310) and a text copy size selecting screen is displayed, while adding a layout print option depending on the number of pages of the document (S320, S340). An option for photograph, using the sheet size, is set in case of a photograph based document type (S350), and a photograph copy size selection screen is displayed, while adding a crop print option depending on the printer or the print sheet size (S360, S370).
