PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an improved acetabular component of a prosthetic hip joint.SOLUTION: The present invention provides an acetabular component of a prosthetic hip joint. The acetabular component comprises: an acetabular cup adapted to be mounted on a native acetabulum; a first acetabular cup insert; and a second acetabular cup insert. The first acetabular cup insert is mounted on the acetabular cup and repositionable with respect to the acetabular cup. The second acetabular cup insert is mounted on the first acetabular cup insert and repositionable with respect to the first acetabular cup insert.
