PURPOSE: A w/o type solid foundation containing large quantity of moisture stably is provided, which prevents aging of skin produced by skin dryness, can be spreaded freshly and cooly, and shows good skin adherence and maintenance, and makes sense of finish to be smooth and clear. CONSTITUTION: A process for the preparation of w/o type solid foundation containing large quantity of moisture stably comprises of: 1) dissolving glucomannan fully in distilled water; 2) adding hyaluronic acid, Na-alginate, β-1,6-branched-β-1,3-glucan, NaCl, glycerin to 1), and dissolving fully while boiling to 80°C; 3) boiling ceresin, carnauba wax, candellila wax, squalene, cethyldimethylcone copolyol, cyclomethicone, polyglyceryl-3-methylglucose distearate, cesquiolate sorbitan, polymethylsiloxane, preservatives to 80°C, dissolving fully, and dispersing fully after adding coloring pigments; 4) adding 2) to 3), dispersing with a homomixer after adding perfume, cooling to 60°C, filling up to a container, cooling rapidly to 30°C to get the solid foundation.
