PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide Smallanthus sonchifolius jam preservable for a comparatively long period, and having texture (rheology texture) near to that of a natural product.

SOLUTION: The Smallanthus sonchifolius jam in a preserve style contains slices of a root tuber of the Smallanthus sonchifolius and a pulverized product of the root tuber.
