PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable the achievement of a high-quality transmission property by reducing cross talk between wiring lines, and decreasing the malfunctions.SOLUTION: An optical module comprises a first flexible wiring board 38 and a second flexible wiring board 40. In the optical module, an electrical interface 22 has an insulating body 24 having a first apical face 28 and a second apical face 30 differing from each other in height and directed toward a direction along a light signal transmission direction at an optical interface 14; and a first electrode 32 and a second electrode 34 which are provided on the insulating body 24 so as to have respective thicknesses from the first apical face 28 and the second apical face 30 in a direction of the height. The first and second flexible wiring boards have a first region 42 and a second region 44 extending directions along the first apical face 28 and second apical face 30 of the insulating body 24 respectively. The first and second flexible wiring boards further have a first pad 46 and a second pad 48 in the first region 42 and the second region 44 respectively; the first and second pads are electrically connected with the first electrode 32 and the second electrode 34.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
