摘要 The device includes a tube (10) connected with one of its extremities to the bottom (7) of a fuel tank (1) with a spherical shape (o). The opposite extremity of the tube is linked to the top of the tank. The tank top and bottom are taken relative to the direction of the acceleration (F) applied to a satellite. The tube is connected to a measuring hose (14) which lies parallel to the direction of the acceleration. The hose forms the dielectric of two capacitors (31,32) whose capacity is indicative of the fuel level in the hose. Using the measured level of fuel in the hose, the fuel temperature (T) and the acceleration of the satellite (g) the quantity of fuel in the tank can be estimated.
