PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet feeding device which prevents a sheet bundle from being erroneously loaded on a second sheet storage part when sheet storage means is erroneously withdrawn during sheet bundle transfer.SOLUTION: A sheet feeding device comprises: a sheet feeding cassette 93 which includes a first sheet storage part 28b and second sheet storage part 28a storing sheets P; a sheet bundle movement member 37 which is movable so as to transfer the sheets P in the second sheet storage part 28a to the first sheet storage part 28b; and a forcible movement mechanism 19 which moves the sheet bundle movement member 37 to a second position farther than a first position with respect to the first sheet storage part 28b when the sheet feeding cassette 93 is withdrawn from the device body and a linkage state between the sheet bundle movement member 37 and drive means 10 is interrupted in a state where the sheet bundle movement member 37 is moved to the first position by the drive means 10.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4 |
