OXYGEN ABSORPTIVE RESIN COMPOSITION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oxygen absorptive resin composition having excellent oxygen absorbency which has the features, for example, of coping with a metal detector and a microwave oven and requiring no water. SOLUTION: The oxygen absorptive resin composition contains a hydrogenated product of a copolymer (A) mentioned below and an oxidation promoting component (B). The hydrogenated product of the copolymer is the one which consists at least of a conjugated diene and a vinyl aromatic hydrocarbon and in which the weight ratio of the diene-derived part and the vinyl aromatic hydrocarbon-derived part is 20/80-95/5 and the hydrogenation rate of the carbon-carbon double bond derived from the conjugated diene is 20-80%.
