PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water spray amount measuring instrument capable of precisely measuring the water spray amount of tunnel water spray equipment without executing useless water spray, having a simple constitution, facilitating the carrying and moving and being inexpensively manufactured. SOLUTION: This water spray amount measuring instrument is provided with a spray cover 1, an aqueduct 2 and a water flow changeover device 3. The water flow changeover device 3 is formed with a water flow inlet 3a in the upper part of a cylindrical casing 31 installed with its axis set horizontally and two water outlets 3b and 3c in its lower part respectively, and the casing 31, in its inside, is provided with a funnel-shaped valve member 32, which is formed of two disk materials being parallel to the end face of the casing and two flat materials positioned between the two disks, rotationally around the axis of the casing 31. The valve member 32 is rotationally turned to change over between a state where the water flow inlet 31a and one water outlet 31b are communicated with each other and a state where the water flow inlet 31a and the other water outlet 31c are communicated with each other.
