<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to flexibly cope with tool damages without having a spare tool, and to continue a work process, by selecting another machine tool capable of executing the same work as in the work process relating to a damaged tool in a prescribed machine tool, and executing the work process after the prescribed work process. SOLUTION: A system controller 2A is connected to the NC device of the machine tools 3-5 and the carrying machine for a palette, etc., controls them, is connected to an FMS controller 1 and is operated under the control of the host. In this device, a program changed so as to detect the damaged tool, to specify the other machine tool capable of the work process using the tool and to perform the work in the other machine tool is automatically prepared. The changed program is scheduled so as to perform the work by the contents of an original work program immediately before a problem occurs, to perform the work by the other machine tool in the process where the tool is damaged and to perform the process by the contents of the work program again after the process is completed.</p> |
