PURPOSE: To provide a method and an apparatus for manufacturing a honeycomb core in which the operability and the productivity can be improved since the cutting and laminating steps of a base material can be continuously conducted. CONSTITUTION: Numeral 4 denotes a slit forming unit for forming slits S at a predetermined interval in parallel on a base material W. As the unit 4, two circular upper and lower knives 5a, 5b are disposed, and a cutout 6 is formed at the part of the outer periphery of the one knife 5a. When the base material W is formed with the slit S by the knives 5a, 5b, the slit S is not formed at the cutout S. The part Sx in which both the ends are coupled is formed, and a plurality of the slits S are coupled at both the ends is formed at the material W. |
