<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image display device and an image display method which prevent image persistence, without giving viewers sense of incongruity. <P>SOLUTION: The image display device includes a detection part which detects changes in the density of an image based on a given image signal; a processing part which processes the image signal in order to change the position on a screen of the image, based on the image signal at a timing of a change in density of the image, when certain amount of or larger changes in the density of the image is detected by the detection part; and a display part which displays the image on the screen; according to the image signal processed by the processing part. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
