PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a moving object distinct on a monitor screen even when a difference in a luminance level of the mobile object that is in existence and not in existence is small and to accurately grasp at which position of a background picture the object is moving from a monitor screen. SOLUTION: The image processing unit for displaying a moving object 11 is provided with a sbutractor means 2 that obtains a difference between an image R received from an external image input means 21 and a background image F, a 1st multiplier means 3 that multiplies a coefficient A that is the unity or over with the difference (R-F) obtained by the sbutractor means 2, a 2nd multiplier means 12 that multiplies a coefficient B that is a half or below with the background image F, and an adder means 13 that sums a multiplication result A.(R-F) of the 1st multiplier means 3 and a 2nd multiplication result C.F by the 2nd multiplier means 12, and the sum result A.(R-F)+C.F of the adder means 13 is outputted as an image of the moving object and displayed on a monitor 24.
