PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mobile terminal capable of quickly informing a partner of the present position of the own terminal with simple operation by transmitting e-mail. SOLUTION: A cellphone 10 comprises: a transmitting means 20 for transmitting e-mail; position information acquiring means 22, 20 for acquiring the position information of the own terminal, and a control means 26 which acquires the position information of the self terminal by the position information acquiring means 22, 20 when a predetermined special character is included in the e-mail to be transmitted in transmitting the e-mail, controls to associate the acquired position information with the special character to add to the e-mail to be transmitted and to transmit the e-mail by the transmitting means 20.
