<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sealing member for a fuel cell which has excellent insulation, thermal resistance, and sealing performance. <P>SOLUTION: A sealing member for a fuel cell 10 includes an inorganic material layer 11 having the insulation and thermal resistance performance, and a metallic interlayer MI formed with a primary metallic layer 12 and a secondary metallic layer 13 at the front and rear sides of the inorganic material layer 11. A stainless steel material layer 12 is attached as a primary metallic layer 12 with hardness greater than that of an oxygen-free copper layer between the oxygen-free copper layer served as the secondary metallic layer and a mica sheet 11 served as the inorganic material layer 11. This can restrain or prevent imprinting of surface roughness of the mica sheet onto the top surface of the oxygen-free copper layer. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
