PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure a highly impervious property and allow a relative displacement by providing a water-tight fitting part to drift at one end of a beltlike elastic member and providing a water-tight fitting part with a shaft at the other end and shaping both water-tight fitting members to have a semicircular form or a bellows-shaped form. SOLUTION: The connection part of a drift 5 and a shaft 6 is previously constructed with a considerable gap 7 to accept a diastrophism. A flexible joint 1 is fitted to a water-tight fitting part 3 between the opening cross sectional face of a drift 5 and the inside wall face of a shaft 6 to prevent water leakage. A distance L1 between both water-tight fitting parts 3 is made longer than a straight distance L2 between the fitting part of the drift 5 and the fitting part of the shaft 6. That is, the flexible joint 1 is formed semicircular or the like to absorb a relative displacement caused by a diastrophism by displacement of the flexible joint 1 and secure the impervious property. Even number of fiber reinforced layers are laid alternately at every layer in a biased direction in the beltlike elastic member. In this way, a sufficient strength can be secured and the joint becomes pliable.
