A display device driven by an electric field and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to adjust a location of a driving body by using gravity and electric force and display a desired image by adjusting a transmission amount of light, thereby improving luminance by using an optical reflection body. A first electrode(191) is formed on a first substrate(110). A first partition(310) is formed on the first substrate and has a fixing groove(315). A second partition(330) is formed on the first substrate, and has plural driving grooves(335) each connected to the fixing groove.
