PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for designing a corrosion sensor that can appropriately set the initial thickness of a sensor part of a corrosion sensor of an electric resistance type.SOLUTION: The method according to the present application is for obtaining a corrosion sensor 1 of an electric resistance type, which includes a sensor part 11 made of iron or iron alloy which becomes thinner by being exposed to a certain environment and getting corrosive and a reference part 21 made of iron or iron alloy which is shut off from the certain environment, and measures the amount of corrosion of the sensor part based on the respective electric resistance values of the reference part and the sensor part. In the method, a thickness which satisfies a specific formula is set as the initial thickness of the sensor part.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
