PURPOSE:To provide a heat absorbing-radiating device for space equipment capable of absorbing-radiating the heat of the space equipment without consuming power resource. CONSTITUTION:A heat absorbing-radiating device for space equipment is formed of a first and a second solar batteries 3, 4 fitted in such a way as to form angular shape along one end face of a heat absorbing-radiating plate 1, and a third and a fourth solar batteries 6, 7 fitted in such a way as to form angular shape along the end face on the opposite side. The heat absorbing-radiating device is provided with a motor 8 for rotating the heat absorbing-radiating plate 1 around an axis right-angled to the optical axis of sunlight by the potential difference between either two solar batteries among these solar batteries, a heat passage connecting the heat absorbing-radiating plate and equipment to each other in the heat conductive state, and a control means for selectively controlling either of the solar batteries as the motor drive power source according to heat absorption and heat radiation. |
