PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multidirectional input device capable of enhancing operability of pushing operation with an operating member kept at a neutral position. SOLUTION: When force applied in the direction to tilt the operating member 20 is smaller than resisting force generated by engagement of a circular sliding contact part 30b formed on a sliding member 30 with an circular recessed part 12h formed on a bottom plate 12a and elastic force of an elastic member 31, tilting of the operating member 20 is suppressed to keep it at the neutral position. When force applied in the direction to tilt the operating member 20 is greater than the resisting force, the sliding contact part 30b runs on a protruding part 12i formed on the inner periphery side of the recessed part 12h to generate a clicking feeling in the operating member 20.
