PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a self-diagnosis information processing method and a self-diagnosis information processing device for a small planing boat for displaying diagnostic data in case of occurrence of a failure and properly displaying the diagnostic data in accordance with a sailing condition of the planing boat without manually performing key operation or the like on the sea. SOLUTION: When abnormality is detected in a self-diagnostic result (S6-4: YES), an electrical control unit (ECU) confirms stoppage of an engine (S7-1: YES), and outputs information showing details with respect to the abnormality to a display device (S7-2).
