<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the recording accuracy and image quality on the second sheet surface from being lowered due to the instantaneous stop of the rotation of re-feed rollers when the rotating direction of a motor is changed. <P>SOLUTION: This image forming device comprises an intermediate delivery roller 13 receiving the sheet on which images are formed and reversing the feeding direction of the sheet, the re-feed rollers 18, 19 feeding the sheet again to an image forming means, the normally or reversely rotatable re-feed motor M3 driving the intermediate delivery roller 13 and the re-feed rollers 18, 19, and a drive transmission means 30 transmitting a drive force so that the re-feed rollers 18, 19 can be rotated only in the re-feeding direction of the sheet when the motor M3 is normally and reversely rotated. When the sheet is fed again to the image forming means, the rotating direction of the motor M3 is changed before the end of the sheet held and fed by the re-feed rollers 18, 19 is held by a rotating body rotatingly driven by a drive source other than the motor M3. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
