PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid cartridge that, while reducing an amount of movement of a locking member that locks the moving member, which moves according to a quantity of remaining ink, is able to move the moving member.SOLUTION: An ink cartridge 30 comprises: a detected member 59 arranged in an ink chamber 36 so as to be rotatable between a detecting position and a standby position and having a regulated part 64; and a regulating member 88 having a projecting part 91 and linearly movable along the direction of movement between a first position in which the projecting part 91 comes into contact with the regulated part 64, thereby regulating rotation from the standby position of the detected member 59 to the detecting position and a second position in which the projecting part 91 separates from the regulated part 64, thereby allowing the rotation. For equal to or more than a half of movement trajectory of the regulated part 64 in the processes of rotation of the detected member 59 from the standby position to the detected position, the angle of rotation related to a straight line 163 extending in the direction of the movement from the rotation center of the detected member 59 is within an area of θ1<45° and 315°<θ2 or 135°<θ3<225°.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 22 |
