PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately remote control an external device provided in a base apparatus side from a terminal apparatus side.

SOLUTION: In an information communication system 10, a base apparatus 20 and a terminal apparatus 40 perform bidirectional communication through a wireless network 81 or a wired network 85. The terminal apparatus 40 receives a remote controller remote control signal IRs (IRe) transmitted from a remote control apparatus 59 (69) to generate remote controller code information. The generated remote controller code information is transmitted from the terminal apparatus 40 to the base apparatus 20 only when the generated remote controller code information matches identification information corresponding to a selected external device 60. The base apparatus 20 generates a remote control signal IRb based on the remote controller code information supplied from the terminal apparatus 40 and causes a remote controller signal transmitter 28 to transmit it.
