Process and assembly to transport vibrating monofilament carbon fibers to composite lay-up station

In a process to transport parallel fibers to a composite layup station (1), two parallel arrays of fiber (2a, 2b) feed from a supply (3a, 3b) and combine around a common winding plane (4). The winding plane simultaneously rotates and vibrates. The vibration is in the frequency range 5 to 50 Hz. The amplitude is 0.2 to 0.5 Hz. The frequency and amplitude vary within a given range during each rotation following a sawtooth time/profile profile. Also claimed is a a commensurate assembly.
