PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact and inexpensive heavy object lifting device capable of lifting up a long heavy object diagonally placed in the longitudinal direction and lifting down it onto a diagonal place. SOLUTION: This heavy object lifting device 10 comprises a suspending beam 11, a pair of heavy object support means 12 installed on both sides of the suspending beam 11 and supporting both sides of a long heavy object, and crane hooking pins 13, 14 symmetrically disposed while projecting to both side upper parts of the suspending beam 11. One crane hooking pin 13 is fixed to the suspending beam 11 through a pin position adjusting means 15 so that the vertical distance between the crane hooking pin 13 and the suspending beam 11 can be adjusted.
