The invention provides a printing device, a printing method, and a control device for the printing device. whatever the size of the image content and/or the printing medium of a printing object, a case of stopping printing operation can be inhibited before forming an image on the printing medium. The control portion of the printing device enables a sliding rack to at least successively execute operation of forming a first point of a first point group on the printing medium, forming adjustment operation without a point, and a operation of forming a second point of a second point group on the printing medium. In the case of an image with pixels with R, G, B values of (0, 0, 0), an area with lowest brightness in the area of the first point group and an area with lowest brightness in the area of the second point group are formed. Repetition is executed in a main scanning first direction but not executed in an auxiliary scanning direction. |
