PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure mechanical durability and a flat cable moving space, and to eliminate a problem of inertia caused by movement of cable, which is a bottleneck in a conventional system using a flat cable.SOLUTION: In a signal transmission device transmitting a control signal for controlling a recording head of a printer from a drive circuit of the printer to the recording head, the signal transmission device includes a first resonance circuit 5 installed in a housing of the printer and including a coil and a second resonance circuit 6 installed on the recording head movable relative to the housing and including a coil. The control signal is transmitted by wireless power by a proximity electromagnetic field from the first resonance circuit 5 to the second resonance circuit 6. |
