PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology capable of efficiently processing the formation of an organic compound layer at a high speed by an inkjet system.SOLUTION: A formation method of an organic compound layer by an inkjet system, forms the continuous organic compound layer by discharging a composition of including an organic compound having light emitting performance from an ink head. The organic compound layer is formed on a pixel electrode arranged in a matrix shape, and continuously forms the organic compound layer over a plurality of pixel electrodes.
