<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device which is uniform in light emission luminance without being affected by threshold voltage of a transistor for driving, variation of a degree of motion or the like. <P>SOLUTION: A transistor T1 for sampling is energized according to a control signal supplied from a scanning line WS, samples a video signal supplied from a signal line SL to hold it in holding capacity C1. A transistor T2 for driving receives supply of current from a power line Vcc and supplies drive current to the light emitting element EL to turn it on. A switching transistor T3 is turned on according to a control signal supplied from a scanning line AZ prior to sampling of the video signal, connects a source of the transistor T2 for driving with fixed potential Vss to turn off the light emission element EL and corrects variation of threshold voltage and a degree of movement of the transistor T2 for driving. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
