PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a waste treatment equipment and method which causes moisture rate of waste to fall into a prescribed range.SOLUTION: Waste treatment equipment includes: a storage device I provided with a storage pit which receives waste P; an incinerator II which incinerates the waste; a conveyance supply device III which is provided with a taking-out device for taking-out the waste from the storage device movably, and conveys and supplies the waste to the incinerator. Further, the waste treatment equipment includes moisture rate adjusting means. The moisture rate adjusting means comprises moisture rate adjusting means for measuring a moisture rate distribution of the waste in the storage pit, agitation mixing means which agitates and mixes the waste for adjusting a moisture distribution of the waste in the storage pit, and agitation mixing taking-out control means which controls the agitation mixing means and the taking-out device. Therein, the agitation mixing taking out control means actuates the agitation mixing means on the basis of the moisture rate distribution measured by the moisture rate measuring means, forms a portion in which the moisture rate falls into a prescribed range, actuates the taking out device and controls the agitation mixing means and the taking-out device so as to take out the waste on the portion. |
