An electronic device comprises: a body including a housing having electronic components embedded therein; a button unit provided in the body so as to generate an input signal; a sound output unit connected to the body through the electronic component and a sound cable; a wireless communication unit provided in the electronic component, and transmitting and receiving a signal by connecting with an external terminal or a base station; and a control unit for controlling the electronic component according to the input signal of the button unit, wherein the input signal comprises: a short input signal in which the button unit is pressed for an amount of time shorter than a standard time; a long input signal in which the button unit is pressed for an amount of time longer than a standard time; and a multi input signal in which the button unit is pressed many times for an amount of time shorter than a standard time. Therefore, the number of buttons is minimized while all possible functions can be controlled, such that the number of members can be reduced and a more sophisticated appearance can be provided. |
